You are being asked to participate in this research study because you currently work with young children. The purpose of this research study is to better understand early childhood workers’ perspectives on play-based pedagogy.

• If you agree to participate, we will ask you to take a 5-7 minute anonymous survey.
• Some participants may feel self-conscious about their responses.
• All responses will be kept confidential and anonymous.
• Your IP address and other identifying information will not be captured.
• Findings from this survey may serve as validation for an important measure in early childhood: educators’ attitudes toward play-based pedagogy.
• Data will be stored on a password protected computer and all electronic data will be password protected and encrypted. Only the researcher and faculty advisor will have access to these data.

If you would like to be contacted about future educational research, there is an option to include your email address. We might remove identifiers from the information collected from you as part of this study and use it for future research studies without additional informed consent. Your email address will never be shared.
