The information collected here will only be used to privately report Hunter College's grant participants to the New York State Education Department. Students in the School of Education are encouraged to apply.
In order to become a Teacher Opportunity Corps Scholar, I acknowledge that I must:

File a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Remain a full-time Hunter College student in good standing
Consent to the release of personal (gender and ethnicity) and financial information (amount of tuition paid) to the NYS Education Department.
Understand that selected students will be given the opportunity to complete a 1-week observation in January and a 3-week supervised internship experience at a NYC priority or focus school during the month of June (placement provided by Hunter College.) Selected students who complete the internship will receive an additional cash stipend.
